The FootJoy Tour Rival in charcoal grey/black is a practical, no-drama spiked golf shoe that focuses on grip, waterproofing and cushioning rather than style or fancy materials.
It feels a bit stiff out of the box and the fit is on the snug side around the heel and midfoot, but after a couple of rounds it settles in and becomes a comfortable, stable shoe for 18 holes.
