Batiyeer 50 Pcs Golf Towels Review: basic bulk towels that get the job done for outings and events

I picked up this Batiyeer pack mainly for a small golf outing and some practice sessions, not because I needed 50 towels for myself. On paper it sounded almost too cheap for what you get: 50 microfiber golf towels, 16" x 16", each with a clip. So I went in expecting them to feel flimsy or like those scratchy car-wash cloths you buy in a bargain bin.

After a few rounds and a short range session, my general feeling is this: they’re basic but they work. Nothing fancy, no branding, no fancy packaging. But for cleaning clubs, wiping balls, and keeping your hands dry, they do the job without fuss. If you’re used to premium branded golf towels, these will feel a bit generic, but that’s kind of the point of a bulk pack.

The main thing that struck me right away is the value. For the price of one or two big-brand towels, you’re getting a huge stack you can hand out at tournaments, charity scrambles, or keep in your trunk for random outdoor stuff. I’ve already used some for the gym and to wipe down equipment in the garage. They’re not just “golf-only” in practice.

So my mindset with this pack is simple: don’t expect luxury, expect quantity that’s decent enough for regular abuse. If that’s what you’re after, they make sense. If you want something that looks premium on your bag, you might want to mix one or two nicer towels with these workhorses.

This is clearly a value-driven product. You’re not paying for branding, packaging, or fancy extras. You’re paying for bulk quantity and basic functionality. Compared to buying single branded golf towels, the price per towel here is very low. If you organize outings, run a small league, or want something to customize with embroidery or sublimation, this pack makes a lot more sense than buying 20–30 individual towels at retail.

Where the value really shows is versatility. I’ve already split my pack up: a few on my golf bags, a couple in the car, some in the gym bag, and a few in the garage for cleaning clubs and random gear. Because they’re so cheap per piece, you don’t care if one gets really filthy or stained. You just rotate in a fresh one. The waffle pattern is pretty functional. Compared to a flat microfiber cloth, the little squares help grab dirt and moisture off the club face. The black color is also practical: it hides stains well. After a few dirty rounds, they still looked reasonably clean from a distance, unlike white towels that look trashed after one wet day.

I also used one as a small gym towel and for that it’s just enough to wipe sweat without being bulky. The only thing I’d flag is that they all look the same. If you’re running an event and want different colors for teams or sponsors, you’ll need to buy different color packs. Also, since there’s no branding or tag, if you throw a few in the cart or clubhouse, it’s easy for people to mix them up. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know if you like your gear to stand out a bit more visually.

The towels are made from basic microfiber with a waffle texture. To the touch, they’re soft enough and not scratchy, but you can tell this isn’t premium plush microfiber like you’d get from more expensive brands. That said, for wiping clubs, balls, grips, or even your hands, you don’t really need luxury texture. I used one to wipe a phone screen and sunglasses as a test; it did the job without leaving scratches or annoying lint.

Absorption is decent. Dry out of the pack, they pick up water fast enough for regular golf use. I used one during a damp morning round, constantly wiping dew off clubs and balls. By the end of 18 holes it was pretty wet, but still usable. It doesn’t feel like a super-thirsty bath towel, but that’s not what it’s meant for. For a small square, the microfiber handles moisture reasonably well, especially if you give it a quick wring halfway through.

The clips are metal and feel okay for the price. I pulled on a few of them pretty hard to see if they’d bend or snap; none broke, though they don’t feel like heavy-duty climbing carabiners either. They’re fine for holding a lightweight towel on a bag. If you’re rough with your gear or constantly yanking them off, I could see a few clips eventually bending or the stitching at the corner wearing out over time, but that’s speculation based on feel, not something I’ve actually had happen yet.

Overall, the material quality lines up with the low price and bulk quantity: good enough, not premium. If you’re expecting the same thickness and softness as a high-end golf towel that costs almost as much as this whole pack, you’ll be disappointed. But if your main goal is a stack of functional microfiber squares that you won’t mind getting muddy, these hit that mark without feeling cheap to the point of being useless.

Durability is where I was the most suspicious at first, because bulk packs sometimes cut corners. So far, after several machine washes and a handful of rounds, the towels I’ve used are holding up better than I expected. No major fraying, no holes, and the stitching around the edges is still intact. I washed them cold with regular laundry, tumble dried low like the care label suggests, and they came out fine.

The color (black) hasn’t faded noticeably after a few washes. That’s one advantage of going for black: even if they do fade slightly over time, it won’t be obvious. I haven’t seen dye bleeding into other clothes either, but to be safe I washed the first batch separate the first time. After that, I just tossed them in with darks and had no issues.

In terms of fabric wear, the microfiber has flattened a bit after washing, which is normal. They’re slightly less “fluffy” than brand-new, but still soft and functional. The waffle texture is still there and still grabs dirt. If you abuse them (throw them on gravel, drag them around, etc.), I’m sure you’ll eventually see snags or pulls, but for regular golf and gym use, they feel like they’ll last a good while.

I haven’t had a clip break or detach yet, which is a good sign. The corner where the clip is attached feels reinforced enough for normal use. Long term, I can imagine the clip area being the first weak point, but again, you have 50 of these. Even if a few eventually wear out or get lost, you’re still ahead compared to buying individual premium towels. So from a durability vs price perspective, they’re pretty solid.

When the package arrived, the first thing I noticed is there’s zero fancy presentation. No nice box, no individual wrapping. It’s basically a big bundle of black towels, stacked together. If you’re expecting a gift-style unboxing, forget it. This is bulk, almost “wholesale” style, which is fine given the price point and the target use (tournaments, outings, teams).

Each towel is roughly 16 x 16 inches, which matches the description. In reality, that size lands in a sweet spot: big enough to clean clubs and grips properly, but small enough that it doesn’t drag on the ground when clipped to a bag. I measured a couple with a tape measure and they were close enough to spec, maybe off by a centimeter here and there, nothing that matters in practice.

Every towel comes with a clip already attached. The clips are simple metal carabiner-style hooks. They’re not luxury hardware, but they open and close easily and I didn’t have any of them break or bend out of shape in the first few weeks. You can clip them to your bag ring, belt loop, or even on a cart handle. For a tournament, it’s convenient because you can just hand them out and players can clip them right away.

Overall, the presentation is very no-nonsense. This is clearly intended more for organizers, clubs, or people doing embroidery/sublimation than for someone buying one towel for themselves. If you want something that feels like a gift straight out of the package, you’ll be underwhelmed. If you care more about getting 50 usable towels at once, the stripped-down presentation actually makes sense.

On the course, I mainly judge a towel on three things: how well it cleans the club face, how fast it dries, and whether it gets annoying to carry. These Batiyeer towels do fine on all three, with a few small trade-offs. I used one for a couple of full rounds, including a wet morning and a hotter afternoon, swapping between a few towels from the pack.

For cleaning, they work. The waffle texture picks up dirt and grass off irons and wedges pretty quickly. If I had a really muddy lie, I’d still use a brush for the grooves, but for normal shots, one or two wipes were enough to get the face visibly clean. On balls, they’re even better: a quick wipe and the cover looked good again, no streaks or weird residue. They don’t shed fibers, which is important if you hate seeing lint in your grooves.

In terms of drying, they’re average. When they get soaked from dew or rain, they don’t magically stay fluffy and dry like some thicker towels. But if there’s a bit of breeze or sun, they dry out at a reasonable pace when clipped to the outside of the bag. I’d call it “good enough for a round” rather than impressive. If you’re playing in heavy rain all day, you’ll want a backup or two from the pack, which you have anyway since you get 50.

Handling-wise, the 16" x 16" size is actually a plus. It doesn’t drag on the ground, and it’s easy to twist and wring with one hand. The clip keeps it from falling off the bag, and I never had one randomly unclip. So in practice, the effectiveness is solid: these towels do exactly what you expect, with no special features, but no big flaws either.
